DThe MPS-years have long passed. A profound piece of music history was ‘written’ at the Villingen recording studio. At the end of the MPS productions Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer limited his producing activities to selected recordings and re-issues which were close to his heart and which were released on his HGBS-Label.

Following the sudden death of the unforgettable music pioneer and producer HGBS, his legacy must be secured for posterity. Mathias Brunner-Schwer, his son and Friedhelm Schulz, jazz critic and producer feel a strong obligation towards this legacy and intend to record selected pianists as well as issue so far unpublished material of the HGBS era on the label of HGBS-Musikproduktion plus preserve the legendary recording studio for posterity.
